1 year old boy!

Jack turned 1 on April 25th, 2011. (and yes I am definitely late writing all this)

I am still in shock. It is crazy to say that I have a 1 year old. I have made it through one whole year of something I never thought would be the most emotional, hard, beautiful, and best blessing I ever recieved all in one little package. He is truly my angel. Jared and I have spoke many times late at night after putting Jack to sleep about how lucky we are. And we really are. We love him dearly.

Some of the things Jack is doing is:

  • Running like a mad man (literally)

  • Playing constantly

  • Still not sleeping through the night, though you are getting awfully close

  • You say "ma ma", "da da", "ba ba", and mostly all other mumbo jumbo

  • You shake your head no and think you are so funny

  • You LOVE to eat. Everybody calls you a munch mouth cause you constantly want food

  • You weigh 20 lbs and are 29 1/2 tall

  • You like to laugh when everybody else is laughing even though you don't have a clue whats really going on

  • You LOVE to go outside

  • If we ask you to get your shoes, you go on a hunt for them till you find them. Then you want to head out the door

  • You still are the worst T.V. watcher I know

  • You love playing with other kids and have enjoyed going to daycare

  • You love to snuggle with your mom and rough house with your dad

  • You still love that darn binky

  • You love your "ba ba" milk

  • You are the most spoiled kid I know

I love you so much little man. I know I say that about every month, but you are truly the best thing that has ever happened to me. I remember being completely shocked that I was pregnant with you, being it only a month since Dad and I got married that we found out you were cooking. Being pregnant with you was a very scary and challenging time as well. They told me many times that they thought something was wrong with you. The doctor sent me to many specialist doctors to see what they could find. I never once thought in my life I would ever give you up and wasn't about to let any of those doctors tell me there was something wrong. I was the one that was right, and you were PERFECT. Always have been. Keep growing up big and strong. Dad and I are behind you 110%.
