4 Months!!

So it has officially been four months with this little man. And Boy has it been crazy, as you can tell from my last post.
We have the Acid Reflux under control as much as we possibly can.
We found out just a few days ago, he has gained 1 pound in a week, so we had to up his dosage of the zantac. Silly little boy is getting SO big. He was starting to do the arching and not eating thing again, that's why we headed back to the doctors.
At his 4 month check up, he is in the 71% for his height. He is now 25.5 inches long.
He is in the 61% for his weight at 15 pounds 7 ounces. As of yesterday, he is now 16 pounds, 4 ounces. My child is a chunk!!
He did SO well with his shots. Only screamed for a minute, then he was like GET ME OUT OF HERE!!
He is in all his 6 month clothes, he has grown out of most of his 3-6 month clothes already. Sad.
He is definitely not little anymore.
He experienced his 2nd ear infection in a month. That was definitely not fun. We are finally of the antibiotics for that.
This kid is a mover! He is constantly rolling, scooting, grabbing things, and just plain wiggly. He loves to move, and hates to be confined in any space.
When I go to pick him up in the morning he is usually in a completely different spot and is smiling and laughing when I find him.
Little stinker.
He has tons more hair on his head and I have been able to put his hair in a mowhawk, which I absolutely love. He is now eating rice cereal at night's, and isnt so sure he likes it quite yet. He loves the milk lots more.
He has learned how to growl, and growls at EVERYTHING!! It is SO funny. He is a chatterbox. He is always making noise.
He is sleeping in his crib now, and loves it there. I probably should have put it up sooner for him to sleep in, but oh well.
He prefers to sleep in his bed for naps and bedtime. Not anywhere else.
He has been an absolute joy now that he is not screaming constantly.
Thank goodness!
We love you baby Jack!!

  1. I'm so happy Jack is doing so much better now:) You're probably getting on a better sleeping and eating routine-now that he's feeling better. When I read his new weight and length-it made me think of my first new born. He was 9 lbs. 4 0z when he was born-and 22 inches long. He looked like he was a month or two old sitting in his car seat. *Today-my first born turned 22 years old-and he's 6' 7" and well over 200 lbs!{A real live giant} and it all makes sense now having such a huge baby:) Little Jack is so tiny now-but time will fly right by. Enjoy every moment!
