I have a 2 month old!?

Time has seriously flown by! I cannot believe I have a 2 month old baby boy. We have loved this little man from day one, but the love has definitely grown! He is finding out his voice the past few weeks, and it is so funny to hear him babble a little here and there. He is starting to smile more and more, although, it is mostly a half smile thing going on, but we'll take it!
He has grown SO much since he was born!
We have a little butterball on our hands! Just check out his cheeks and thighs!
We had his 2 month check-up today and he has gained 5 pounds since birth, weighing a total of 12 lbs 5 oz. and has grown 2 3/4 inches, making him 22 and 3/4 inches long. Doctor Pete says he looks perfect! As we already knew he was! But we are thankful for a healthy baby boy.
We are so blessed to be parents and have enjoyed this little man SO much.
I cannot seem to get enough of him.
He still wakes up 2 times in the night to eat, but is on a pretty good schedule. I am thankful for that! It was very rough nights at first, so I will take having a routine and a little more sleep!
I must say in the beginning, I was not about to have any more kids with him being as colicky as he was. I am very relieved to say that the colic has gone down tremendously!
I added a ton of pictures, going from the newest to the oldest ones. Where he is still really little.
Enjoy!

This picture was taken today at the doctors. Poor baby had to get his shots.

Happy little dude!

Don't they look alike?

BATH TIME!!! He loves the bath!

Here is Jack and Ryker. They were born the same day. And Jack is a MONSTER compared to him. They are both adorable!

Working hard with mom at work!

Grampa Dano and Jack

My cute new outfit from Angie!

Wyatt loves to hold Jack. Everytime we come over he wants to hold him. One time I was upstairs feeding Jack and I opened the door to go out and Wyatt was standing there with his arms raised in the air (which means he wants to hold him) and all I had to say was "ok, go downstairs and you can hold him." And quick as a whistle he was down the stairs and on the couch ready to hold Jack. So cute!

Little Sleeper

Silly Boys. I love how the same expression is on their faces.

Dad and Jack Jack. I love his little belly!

Of course... more pictures!

5 days old and ready to go hunting with dad already!

Our first outing was to Maddox in Brigham City. Mom was going stir crazy at home and NEEDED to get out! So we headed to a nice dinner. We sat by two very cute old lady's that just loved Jack. They told us all kinds of stories of their children. It was quite entertaining!
Sleep little boy. I can't seem to get enough of him! I love to snuggle up with him all day!
I can't quite seem to get anything accomplished anymore!

Dad and Jack reading the NRA magazine. It was funny cause Jack was intent looking at the magazine as well! I love my boys!!
He was a week and a half here.

One week old!! I love how awake he is! Such a little stud isn't he?
We had his 2 week appointment and he looks great! He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and wsa 20 inches long. He was so good at the doctor. He had to get his biliruben checked again, and the poor boy was not happy! Mom also left the binky at home, and the awesome nurse went and found us one for him and for the diaper bag.
What a relief!
He was so sad! I almost cried but I did ok. Dad was strong as always!
We are so happy he is doing so well. Having a pregnancy where they tell you so many things were going to be wrong, and then end up not having any of those problems is so great. I am verry thankful to have a healthy little boy!!

Lots of pictures!!!

Here he is, He is such a cuddle bug baby. He loves to be held! (I know, we are in trouble!)
Just home from the hospital. He seems so small in his car seat.

Ready to go home! Got his new outfit from Nana to go home in.

HIs bear from Papa, Nana, Katie and Wyatt. I love that they are almost the same size!

My boys.

So sleepy!

Jared is a little bit attached. He can't get enough of his little man. But neither can I!

He has beena very wide awake newborn so far. He stays awake for long periods of time.

He is a binky baby! He loves the bink, and almost prefers that over eating.
Our stay in the hospital was a very uneventful one. It was actually really good. It was great after having such a crazy experience trying to get him into this world.
Jack passed his hearing test with flying colors and his biliruben was low as well. He shouldn't develop any jaundice and he was overall a very healthy baby!
We couldn't be happier!
That's always news you want to hear. Especially about your own baby. It was definitely a relief.
He got his circumcision and wasn't a very happy camper the night of that procedure. He wouldn't eat that night and later the nurse told me he lost 7.5% of his body weight since he was born.
The same night the nurse brought him back from the nursery because he wouldn't stop crying for them. They had tried everything. He was only in there for an hour and a half and was deterrmined that he wouldn't stay in there.
As soon as he heard my voice, he calmed right down and went to sleep. So i kept him for a while and just held him.
Poor baby.
Had a rough time with that, but all is well.
We had lots of visitors and family come see us in the hospital. It was really nice.
Jared got me a vase of lillies and we got a few other balloons and a plant from some other family.
We were SO happy to be able to go home! Jared stayed with me the entire time (which was so great of him!). It made it a lot easier for me to stay there for 3 days.
Now that we are home, we are just getting used to everything. Taking care of a newborn definitely has its work cut out for ya! I'm exhausted.
But I couldn't be happier to have him here.
The postpartum stuff really stinks, but I think it doesn't help that we woke up to snow this morning. Here we are April 28th, and we still have snow.
Depressing.
I will try and keep everything updated. It will be tough with a new baby, but hopefully I can at least post pictures or something.
