Moving Day!

Tomorrow is MOVING DAY!!
I can't tell you how excited we are to have our own place again. This year has started off to be amazing. I can't thank people enough for all the thoughts, prayers and well wishes all last year. It was a very rough year, to say the least. It will be exactly one year in 2 weeks, when we lost everything and moved into our camper trailer. We have come so far. It is amazing the strength we have to carry on, and I know I wouldn't do a very good job without Jared. He has been so patient and positive through all our trials.
Jared also accepted a new job. And yes, he did just start a *new* job at Brahma Group Inc. 4 weeks ago. Well the company he accepted the offer from is North American service group. It is a company he really wanted to get a job with, and they have excellent benefits, lots of work hours, and he gets paid more hourly. So we are SO very excited for that. He starts on monday and he is very happy to be getting on with a company that he really wanted to work for. Life is good.
We are getting some new bedroom furniture to go into our new house as well. I think I am getting really old, cause I am THRILLED to be getting new furniture! It's like Christmas! lol
As I keep saying I will post pictures, hopefully I will soon. I also have the cutest video of Jack laughing at the soap bottle. It sounds weird, but it is so cute. I will also post pictures of our new house too. :)

New Year... New Start!

So this new year has been kicked off to be an awesome new start!
Jared got a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was the best present ever. Yes he had a job beforehand, but it was temp work and it sucked! We wanted something that we could afford to live on our own again, and pay off bills.
We are in luck. We found a townhouse to live in West Valley. We are hoping to move within the next month. If circumstances permit of course. We are SO EXCITED!!! :)
Thank you everyone for the prayers and love through this rough year. I think we are going to do much better this year!

More family pictures!

So we have more family pictures! Yay! I sure do love pictures. If I would have known we were doing these shoots with our families, I wouldn't have gotten ours done the other month. But these do look awesome! Thanks aunt Julie!! Your work is awesome! The whole fam-from left to right-
Quinn, Jared, Shari, Jack, Mom (Valisa), Dad (Dan), Annie, Kailey and Josh

8 months old and CHRISTMAS!!

Christmas was fantastic! Jack got SO much stuff from both sets of grandparents. I think we have enough toys to last him until his 18th Birthday... He got Looney Tunes on DVD, a cute little chair, clothes, and seriously a TON of toys!
Jared got clothes, new work boots that he wanted, and tons of food/treats. Nothing else pleases the man like food does.
I got a kitchenaid, a foodprocessor (that crapped on me after 2 days of using, so I got a different one), and clothes. Which was desperately needed. My clothes are all looking a little big since I have lost all of the weight I gained while pregnant with Jack, and then some. :)
Jared's parents and sister got us a gift card to The Cheesecake Factory and Cinemark for a nice date night.
I love Christmas time, it is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. It was great to spend it with both families.
Jack turned 8 months on Christmas day... some fun facts about him....
  • He LOVES food (he is his father's child)
  • He loves to MOVE.. still
  • He hates to sleep. Always has.
  • He loves to be in the tub. And if your in the shower or tub and he finds out, he is pissed. He will try to climb into the shower with you. Little stinker.
  • He loves to be naked.
  • He likes to go for drives, as long as he is not in the car for more than an hour, or he will let you know he wants to get out!
  • He loves animals. He chases the cat almost all day long and laughs at her as soon as he catches up.
  • He pulls himself up to everything and enjoys pulling everything off of shelves, tables, the coffee table, and destroying the barbie house.
  • I love to hear him laugh, and he loves to play with his daddy.
  • He loves to dance with mommy to music. He thinks its great!
  • He loves him grandma and grandpa Dilworth. He has rock-a-bye time with them almost everyday.
  • He got his first tooth on 1/5/2011. Bottom left tooth.
  • He has only bit me once with that darn little tooth of his.
  • He took his first steps on 1/9/2011. That was so exciting.
  • He had his 4th ear infection this month, along with laryngitis for the first time. Poor baby couldn't talk or scream. (which was kind of nice for a minute).

I can't believe how much he has grown. I also can't believe he will be 1 in just a few short months. Seriuosly, where has the time gone??

*pictures soon to come!*

Family Pictures

We took Family Pictures this year, and I am thrilled with them! My friend Marnie, and former co-worker took them. If anybody needs a photographer, so does great work for a very reasonable price! http://www.silverlight.smugmug.com/
There's her website/prior work..

Just some pictures...

My little Sock Monster. He loves digging out his sock basket and he will put socks in his mouth and crawl off. It makes me laugh.

Wyatt and Jack. Cute Cousins!

Turkey Butt.

So Happy!

Again, my little Sock Monster

Pooh Bear

Yes, he discovered the toilet, and yes, I recently cleaned it. (Thank goodness!)
His new thing is to race to the bathroom, stand up, and swish his hand in the water. Little Turd. But he is so cute, you can't be mad! The toilet seat cover now stays down. Or the door stairs closed.

Crazy nap hair, so happy!

Ready for bed!

Apparently the pantry is a very exciting place to play!

He looks like he is ready to go do something naughty. He is a bull-headed little man. I am scared for the future!

His tongue that sticks out constantly!

Brooklyn and Jack

Just Chillin.

Showin off what I got...

Ok- So that was a lot of pictures....Not just some.... I can't help but take pictures of this little stinker. He is pretty cute, right? He will be 8 months on the 25th, Christmas Day. He is just getting way too big on us!

We can't wait for Christmas. Especially since it's baby's first Christmas. It's exciting for a parent, and you don't quite understand it until you live it. It's just one of those things!

We are doing good, busy but good. I decided to go ahead and get my coding license with this next semester coming up. I will just be taking the 4 classes I need to get that piece of paper that says "Yes, you CAN do coding and billing in a Medical Office", Even though I have been doing it for 3 years WITHOUT a certificate. Anyways, I am excited. I am hoping to get a job that I can do billing and coding from home. We will see how that goes. There has been times that I really want to go back to work. I miss it. Yes, I just said I missed going to work. What the heck is wrong with me?? I must be going crazy. I do love staying home with my baby. I am definitely grateful that I do get to stay home with him. It has been a big joy in my life. But we also need to get out of debt before it swollows us whole.

Jared is still trying to get the job at Kennecott/Rio Tinto. We are hoping for the best. We keep getting the run around, but we are hoping we are getting closer. They are hiring another 10-15 starting the first of the year, and we hope we can get in that group. It would be such a blessing! Then we could be out on our own again. I have appreciated all the help from my mom and family, since Jack has been a hard baby. He NEVER sleeps. She will come get him in the mornings and rock him back to sleep before she goes to work, so I can get a few extra hours before I have to get up and take care of him for the day. We are definitely blessed. But it would still be nice to have our own "space" again.

Well enjoy the pictures.. I will post something for Christmas! :)
